Itinerary

Day 1Istanbul

Upon arrival, meet and greet local guide and proceed to Istanbul Old City. Our first visit is going to be Blue Mosque which was built by Sultan Ahmet the first on 1616 and very famous with its stunning blue tiles on its Wall. Afterwards we visit Hagia Sophia which was built as an Orthodox Church by Emperor Justinian in 537 AD. However the giant worship center was converted in a Mosque by Sultan Mehmet the Second in 1453. It is now a museum where you can enjoy the harmony of two culture in the same building. After our time finishes at Hagia Sophia, we continue our trip visiting Topkapı Palace which was built by Sultan Mehmet the Second in 1475. Topkapı Palace is the biggest palace in Turkey and also one of the biggest in the World by its 80 acres area. Topkapı Palace is the most visited palace in Turkey while it offers to its visitors many beautiful small mansions with nice view of Bosphorus Strait or Golden Horn, many valuable jewelleries which was used by the Sultans, Holy Relics such as David’s sword, Moses’ Staff and so on. After we have our dinner, we proceed to hotel and check in.

Overnight in Istanbul.

Day 2Istanbul / Fethiye

After we have our breakfast, we check out hotel and then proceed to Leather Outlet Center which is nationwide famous. After our shopping time ends, we take a short cruise trip and enjoy the beautiful Bosphorus Strait with hundreds of houses by the strait and many beautiful palaces from Ottoman Era. Afterwards we proceed to airport for domestic flight to Fethiye which is located on the Agean Coast of Turkey. upon arrival, you will be transferred to your hotel and have rest for the next day.

Day 3Fethiye

Optional Tour: Daily Boat Trip at Fethiye.

Departs at 10:30 from Fethiye Ölüdeniz port. Including Lunch and Drinks at the boat and visiting 8 beautiful coves of Fethiye and you will have free time enjoying swimming at those coves. Back to hotel before dinner.

Day 4Fethiye

Optional Tour: Daily Saklıkent Canyon Tour.

Depart from hotel at 08:00. We will leave for Saklıkent Kanyon which is one of the national parks of Turkey and about 300 m deep and 18 km long, being one of the deepest in the world. It was formed through abrasion of the rocks by flowing waters over thousands of years. As the level of water rises during winter months, visitors can enter the canyon all year around only the deeper parts in the summer. 4 km of the canyon are walkable after April, when most of the snow in the Taurus Mountains has melted and passed through on its way to the Mediterranean Sea. Saklıkent means “hidden city” in Turkish. The full length of 16km is only possible to discover with professional equipment and knowledge of advanced canyoning. After we enjoy exlporing Saklıkent Canyon, we will be transferred to hotel before dinner.

Day 5Fethiye

Optional Tour: Daily Telmesos and Kayaköy Village Tour

Depart from hotel at 09:00. Our first visit is going to be Ruins of Kayaköy village Kayaköy which was known in Greek as Karmilassos, shortened to Lebessos is presently a village 8 km south of Fethiye in southwestern Turkey in the old Lycia province. From Ancient Greek the town name shifted to Koine Greek by the Roman period, evolved into Byzantine Greek in the Middle Ages, and finally became the Modern Greek name still used by its townspeople before their final evacuation in 1923. Later on we will visit Telmessos Ancient Ruins was the largest city in Lycia, near the Carian border. It was called Telebehi in the Lycian language. The well-protected harbor of Telmessos is separated from the Gulf of Telmessos by an island.The name of the modern town on the site is Fethiye. Next stop is going to be Amyntas Rock Tombs which is the impressive looking tomb was built in 350 BC, and was named after the Greek inscription on the side of it which reads “Amyntou tou Ermagiou”, which translated to English means “Amyntas, son of Hermagios”. The tomb was built by the Lycians, the people who lived in this area of Turkey at the time. The Lycians were never members of a specific country, but rather a tightly-knit confederation of independent city-states, which included Telmessos. Later we proceed to Fethiye Bay and we have free time walking tour there. After we end our trip for the day, we will be transferred to our hotel before dinner.

Day 6Fethiye

Optional Tour: Dalyan Mud-Bath Tour

We leave hotel at 09:00 and arrive in Dalyan in about  1 hour drive. Upon arrival we take boats at Dalyan River. We will have a boat trip at Dalyan River till Iztuzu Beach which is famous for Caretta-Carettas. We will have chance to feed Caretta Carettas in Dalyan River and then we are going to have time to swim at Iztuzu Beach which is one of the best in Turkey. Later on we arrive in Mud Bath center and enjoy Mud Bath which is healthy for our skin. After our programme ends there, we will be transferred to hotel before dinner.

Day 7Fethiye/ Istanbul / Departure

After breakfast at hotel, we enjoy facilities at hotel and then we will be transferred to airport for the flight back to your country.
